About 100 people are expected to meet in Worcester Saturday for the Massachusetts Green-Rainbow Party’s annual state convention. The 6,000-member group unsuccessfully ran candidates in statewide races last year including treasurer, auditor and secretary of the commonwealth. WAMC’s Berkshire Bureau Chief Jim Levulis spoke with the party’s co-chair M.K. Merelice who ran for auditor in 2014, about Saturday’s open convention and the party’s goals.
The party’s state convention is Saturday from 9 to 5 at the First Unitarian Church of Worcester.
