Berkshire Eagle: Lenox School Evacuated Again Following Threat

For the second time in five days, Lenox Memorial Middle and High School was evacuated after staff noticed a threatening message on the school’s voicemail system. According to The Berkshire Eagle, about 400 students were taken to the school’s soccer field shortly after school started Monday morning. Classes resumed after police, fire and school personnel searched the building.

Last Thursday, school administration and law enforcement decided to send students home after staff noticed a threatening message on the voicemail system. The Berkshire Eagle reports Lenox Public Schools interim superintendent Timothy Lee says the calls were made by the same person. Last week, Lee said the caller sounded like a young person, perhaps a student.
