Facebook: The Clark

Two Berkshire County residents have announced a major donation to The Clark Art Institute in Williamstown. In recognition of their $15 million donation, The Clark is renaming its directorship after Felda and Dena Hardymon. The money will support ongoing operations and campus expansion, part of which was unveiled by museum head Michael Conforti in June.

“I think it’s the completion of well over a decade, about a decade and a half, of work on the part of everybody associated with The Clark,” Conforti said. “I happen to be the director, but the staff, trustees, donors they made a commitment earlier on to see the expansion realized.”

Dena Hardymon joined the Clark’s Board of Trustees as an honorary member in 2013.
