Funeral Arrangements Announced For Bishop Maguire

Funeral arrangements have been finalized for Springfield Bishop Emeritus Joseph Maguire, who died Sunday at the age of 95. A public prayer service at Saint Michael’s Cathedral in Springfield will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, November 30. The funeral at the cathedral will take place at 11 a.m. Monday December 1^st. Maguire was the bishop of the Springfield Diocese from 1977 to 1992. WAMC’s Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill spoke with current Bishop Mitchell Rozanski.
