Vermonters unable to make it to the polls on November 4 are being encouraged to vote early.
Early voting is available at town and city clerks' offices around the state through Monday Nov. 3 — the day before Election Day.
Meanwhile, the secretary of state's office notes that the deadline for new voters to register is Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 5 p.m.
On Nov. 4, polling places around Vermont open between 5 a.m. and 10 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
