Yale University has announced former U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner will deliver a series of lectures in the fall on the global financial crisis.
Geithner will discuss lessons from the crisis of 2007-2009. The Yale School of Management said Wednesday the lectures will be part of a new course on the global financial crisis, which Geithner will co-teach.
Geithner will also convene a multi-day seminar on financial crisis management at Yale during the 2014-2015 academic year for officials from finance ministries and central banks around the world.
Geithner headed the Treasury throughout President Barack Obama's first term and stepped down in early 2013.
