During a visit to Pittsfield on Monday, Massachusetts Governor Deval Partrick touted the state’s strategy to increase job growth.
“We have a very deliberate strategy to grow jobs and opportunity and it’s based on investing in education, in innovation, and in infrastructure. And it’s a strategy that is working," Patrick said. "We’re growing faster than most of our neighbors, twice as fast as the national growth rate, we’re No. 1 in the nation in economic competitiveness and venture funding, and a whole host of other areas and we’re playing to our strengths. So, I believe in this strategy, we continue to promote it, we’re going to work on it right through to the last day I’m in office.”
