Opening Arguments In Berkshire County Triple Slaying Trial

wikipedia.org

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) — Berkshire County's top prosecutor has described the torture and killing of three Pittsfield men in his opening statement at the murder trial of a Hells Angels motorcycle club member.

The Berkshire Eagle reports District Attorney David Capeless spoke Monday at Adam Lee Hall's trial in Hampden Superior Court.

Capeless said Hall made one victim watch his two friends suffer before he was killed. Capeless said the victims were shot and dismembered.

Hall's defense attorney Alan Black said there's no evidence linking his client to the crimes.

The 36-year-old Hall and two other men are charged with shooting David Glasser, Edward Frampton and Robert Chadwell in Pittsfield in 2011. Authorities say Hall wanted Glasser dead so he couldn't testify against him in an unrelated assault case. Prosecutors say the others were killed to eliminate witnesses.
