Worcester Massachusetts has the distinction of being the snowiest city in the United States this winter.
The snow storm earlier this week brought the season’s total snow fall in Worcester to 108.9 inches, making it the snowiest city in the country this winter, according to the National Weather Service. Syracuse New York was second with 96.5 inches. Rochester New York also made the top five with 72.7 inches. The rankings only apply to cities with more than 100,000 people. There are less populous places that received more snow.
