Republican Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro has taken the next step toward a possible run for governor of New York. Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo is expected to seek a third term in 2018. WAMC’s Hudson Valley Bureau Chief Allison Dunne spoke with Molinaro about what lies ahead.

Molinaro is also considering teaming up with Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb of Canandaigua on a Republican ticket. Molinaro recently revealed this potential plan during a joint interview with The Auburn Citizen.
