New York Governor Andrew  Cuomo Wednesday announced $25 million to fund rail and port improvement projects across the state. Two of the grants are for the Hudson Valley, both in Orange County.

And Central New York Railroad Corporation will apply its grant of $630,000 to rehabilitate a bridge over the Delaware River. New York awarded 17 other grants, including two in the Capital District, where $2.6 million is for SMS Rail Services to rehabilitate 14 miles of tracks and siding.
