Orange County’s Office for the Aging is opening a Newburgh satellite office.
Orange County officials Tuesday morning will announce the opening of the satellite office in the City of Newburgh at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center. The program AgeLink will be available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. until 12 noon. The office will be collaboration among the Office for the Aging, Mount Saint Mary College, and the Newburgh Armory Unity Center. It will be staffed by undergraduate student volunteers from Mount Saint Mary trained in aging services, many of them bilingual. The office will also serve seniors in eastern Orange County who cannot make the trip to the Office for the Aging’s Middletown location.
