A citizens group is hosting a forum Monday evening about a proposed pipeline that would run through portions of the Hudson Valley.
Citizens for Local Power will present a forum on the proposed Pilgrim Pipeline that would transport oil, including from the Bakken Shale region, through Albany, Greene, Ulster, Orange and Rockland Counties en route to New Jersey. Jennifer Metzger is with Citizens for Local Power and a Rosendale councilwoman. She says the Town of Rosendale has become the first municipality to adopt a resolution of opposition. The forum begins at 7 at the State University of New York at New Paltz.
