Scenes for an episode of an HBO series will be filmed Tuesday afternoon in the Hudson Valley.

An episode of the HBO series “Girls” will be filmed, at least in part, on the campus of the State University of New York at New Paltz. The show’s creator and star Lena Dunham will be both in front of and behind the camera while on campus. Half A Yogurt Productions will film between 1:30 and 8. About 40 SUNY New Paltz staff and students will appear as extras. There will be filming outside the Haggerty Administration Building as well as on the Old Main Quad. “Girls”, in production for its third season, is about the triumphs and humiliations of girls in their 20s in New York City.
