A New York congressman Wednesday morning is holding a telephone town hall focused on issues affecting senior citizens.
Democratic Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney’s telephone town hall with Hudson Valley senior citizens will likely address questions about Social Security and Medicare. He says representatives from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and National Government Services will be on hand to discuss Medicare open season, other services, and scams targeted at senior citizens. Invitations were headed out to tens of thousands of residents from the 18th congressional district. Constituents could also request an invitation via e-mail, phone, or Maloney’s web site. The call begins at 11 a.m.
