The Young Musicians Forum series showcases exceptional young musicians preparing for careers in classical music. On Sunday, March 2 at 2:00 PM at the Schenectady Public Library it will present pianist and percussionist William Lauricella in a program of piano works by Bach, Haydn, Chopin, Schumann and Scriabin. Formerly a member of the Empire State Youth Orchestra's Symphony Orchestra and ESYO's Youth Percussion Ensemble, William is now majoring in piano performance at The Juilliard School in NYC. When in High School, Lauricella won the ESYO Concerto Competition twice as well as many other competitions. He has also performed with the Schenectady-Saratoga and Albany Symphony Orchestras.
