Word Plays: A Whale of a Tale

Word Plays: A Whale of a Tale
Come listen to a biblical story (can you guess which one?), personal stories, folktales from the Adirondacks, Appalachia and Ireland, and, perhaps, a tall tale or two. The story titles include:
Phantom Falls
How I Won the Susquehanna Folk Festival Liar’s Contest
Jonah
Our tellers are: Siri Allison, Fran Berger, Kent Busman, Kate Dudding, Marni Gillard, Eileen Mack, Nancy Marie Payne, and Sandy Schuman.
At every Story Circle show, superb performers tell rarely heard contemporary and traditional stories celebrating the human spirit. The shows are shared experiences between audience and performer, combining the intensity of a solo performance with the intimacy of a face-to-face conversation. Since 2008, over 4,000 people have enjoyed our shows at Proctors. We hope to see you there!
