The Big Conversation: Red Lines and ‘White Nooses’

The Other Side presents Professor Jeff Miller, Professor of Communication and Media at Utica University. Professor Miller will present evidence of the history and legacy of redlining in Utica and the use of restrictive covenants in property deeds to prevent people of color from living in parts of New Hartford, Deerfield, and Rome.
