Escape to the beautiful and bountiful Mohawk Valley and enjoy a day trip of art exhibits and holiday shopping at the Arkell Museum & Canajoharie Library. Beginning Friday, October 21, the Arts Factory of Montgomery County will show work by member artists in the Regional Art Galleries; framed paintings, photography, and ceramics. All gallery sales are "Cash & Carry", so you can purchase a work of art and take it home with you the same day. On view through December 30.

Admission to the Regional Art Galleries is free. Museum admission is free for members and children under 11; $9 adults, $6.50 seniors & students. The Museum, Regional Art Galleries, and Library are open Tues - Fri, 10 am-5 pm, Sat & Sun, Noon-5 pm. The Regional Art Galleries and Library remain open until 6 pm on Wednesdays.
