Celebrate spring with Grassland Bird Trust (GBT) by joining us for Raptor Fest at Hicks Orchard on Saturday, May 20! It is spectacular there in May when the orchard is awash in apple blossoms and the 2023 Raptor Fest will be memorable for both novice and experienced birders. Start with a guided bird walk, then attend a lecture by an expert guest speaker. Enjoy a delicious complimentary lunch and end with a live raptor demo featuring owls and other birds of prey. Proceeds will help GBT protect the Audubon-designated Important Bird Area (IBA) and the threatened birds that depend on these valuable grasslands for survival.
