North Loop opens Pallavi Sen and Abby Flanagan & Mariko Makino: Light Trail on October 6, 2023. Pallavi Sen features the Williamstown-based artist’s paintings, frescos, prints, and ceramics. Abby Flanagan & Mariko Makino: Light Trail includes sculptures made with found material, wood, and neon. Pallavi Sen’s multidisciplinary practice reflects on the interrelation of architecture, human activity, and home gardens, while Light Trail brings together the distinctive sculptural practices of Abby Flanagan and Mariko Makino, both of which foreground the complexities of human engagement with the natural world. Both exhibitions are on view through November 12, 2023.
