The FIRST Robotics Competition is a program that challenges high school students – working with professional mentors – to design and build a robot to contend in competitions that measure the effectiveness of each robot, the power of collaboration, and the determination of students. At our regional competition, fifty teams – over 1,000 students – compete in alliances for an opportunity to advance to the FIRST Championship and to win recognition for design excellence, sportsmanship, and teamwork.

Fourteen teams from the lower Hudson Valley will be competing. We thank the generous sponsorships from Bezos Family Foundation, Pfizer, Con Edison, Verizon, Orange & Rockland, Optimum, and the grassroots support of the lower Hudson Valley community for making our event possible.
