Now that the election is over, use some of that energy you were expending on phonebanking or canvassing and go to your basement, your attic, or your garage and dig out something that needs repair.

What: Almost anything! Clocks, motors, small furniture, ceramics, lamps, jewelry, bikes, and all manner of textile repairs, including knitting and darning. Two items per person. Textiles must be clean.

Also refreshments and conversation with your neighbors.
