Artist Kimberly A. Beauregard’s acrylic and pastel paintings will be on display from October 2 - 30 at Burnett Gallery within and during regular hours of Amherst’s Jones Library. Explore her crisp contemporary landscapes that seek to “Captured Moments” of what is beautiful right in front of us but often missed as we go on with our busy lives. The Artist reception will be on October 5th from 5:30 - 7:30 pm, with complimentary refreshments, and includes artwork by Robert Markey who shares exhibit space for duration of event.

Artist Statement: In my artistic journey, I am constantly drawn to the idea of “Captured Moments” that often go unnoticed in a world filled with constant movement and distractions. I aim to bring these fleeting moments to life in my contemporary landscapes and botanical paintings. I use light and shadows, vivid color contrasts, reflections, and detail to accentuate these moments. My work is an invitation to pause, reflect, appreciate, and rediscover the profound beauty that surrounds us.
