A jury returned not guilty verdicts Tuesday against a former city housing inspector in Schenectady, NY who faced charges including manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide after a deadly fire in the city just over three years ago.

Prosecutors had alleged that Kenneth Tyree failed to take official actions during an inspection of 104 Jay Street the day before the March 6, 2015 fire that killed four people and left sixty homeless.
