Albany Pro Musica’s sixth annual “Pops! Goes the Chorus” cabaret once again fills the historic Shaker Meeting House in Colonie with show tunes, old standards and other popular songs on Friday and Saturday nights, June 5th and 6th.
The cabaret will feature favorites like Shenandoah, When I Fall In Love, Forever Doo-Wop, Speak Low and Blue Skies performed by the full chorus. The ensembles and soloists will offer renditions of Route 66, Impossible Dream, The Shadow of Your Smile, Toto’s Africa and many others.
APM Artistic Director José Daniel Flores-Caraballo joins us this morning to preview next weekend’s event.
