"Roscoe" A New Opera Based On The Work Of William Kennedy

Act one of award-winning opera composer Evan Mack's new work Roscoe will be part of Opera Saratoga's 2014 summer festival. The opera is based on the novel of the same name by Pulitzer Prize winning author, William Kennedy.

The 80 minute concert performance will give Saratoga audiences a first look at this brand new piece at The Arthur Zankel Music Center at Skidmore College on June 8th at 2pm.

Composer Evan Mack joins us along with Opera Saratoga's General Director, Curtis Tucker.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
