The Woodstock Playhouse's 75th Anniversary Season

The Woodstock Playhouse is celebrating its 75th anniversary. The Playhouse has gone through several incarnations. It began as an offshoot of the bohemian theater scene of the Maverick Arts Colony, with founder Robert Elwyn's vision that the Playhouse become on of the first rural extensions of Broadway. Larry Hagman and Dick Van Patten, along with Mary martin and Diane Keaton, started their careers on the Playhouse stage.

Woodstock Playhouse Company Manager and Co-Founder Doug Farrell joins us this morning along with Mary Mullaney – Director of PR, and actor Robby Haltiwanger who was in Fiddler on the Roof this season and will be playing the lead role in Tommy.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
