Albany, NY – In today's Academic Minute, Dr. Mia Mask of Vassar College discusses the film career and legacy of actress Rosalind Cash.

Professor Mask is Associate Professor of Film/Chair of Film at Vassar and received her Ph.D. from New York University. Dr. Mask teaches African American cinema, documentary film history, feminist film theory, African national cinemas, and seminars on special topics such as the horror film. She is the author of Divas on Screen: Black Women in American Film.
