U.S. Intervention

As the United States prepares to send troops to Central Africa and to extend the mandate of U.S. forces in Bosnia, Danny speaks with Sen. Carl Levin, ranking Democrat on the Senate Armed Services Committee. Responding to Republican critics, Levin says the president did not deceive the american people when he pledged last year to withdraw U.S. troops from bosnia by this Christmas. Levin says those troops completed their mission, and now U.S. forces face a new mission: to maintain peace and quiet so Bosnia can rebuild.
