Alan Chartock...In Conversation with Susan Kayne and Andrew Elsbree

Alan is joined by Susan Kayne and Andrew Elsbree. A Hudson Valley horse owner and breeder licensed in New York since 1984, Kayne is the creator and host of the television series Unbridled and author of the upcoming book Bandit’s Story, an account of six months in the life of an average racehorse. Kayne’s husband, Andrew Elsbree, is a certified journeyman farrier who is licensed to put shoes on racehorses at New York Racing Association-run tracks.

Dr. Alan Chartock is professor emeritus at the University at Albany. He hosts the weekly Capitol Connection series, heard on public radio stations around New York. The program, for almost 12 years, highlighted interviews with Governor Mario Cuomo and now continues with conversations with state political leaders. Dr. Chartock also appears each week on The Media Project and The Roundtable and offers commentary on Morning Edition, weekdays at 7:40 a.m.
