There are just about six weeks left before New York state lawmakers wrap up the legislative session in Albany. It comes after majority Democrats checked off a laundry list of priorities in the state budget passed earlier this month. Manhattan Assemblyman Danny O’Donnell, from the 69th district, says there’s plenty left to do.

Among his priorities are banning hydrofracking fluid from being used to de-ice roads in the state, extending voting rights to parolees, and bolstering the arts. O’Donnell spoke with WAMC’s Ian Pickus.
