WAMC's Dr. Alan Chartock breaks down Monday's Senate hearing on the nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court. WAMC will air continued special coverage of the hearings at 9 a.m. 

Dr. Chartock also comments President Trump's insistence that he has a plan for healthcare to replace the Affordable Care Act. Also in the headlines: California's attorney general has sent a cease-and-desist letter to the state Republican Party for its use of unauthorized drop boxes for absentee ballots.
