Parking in downtown Saratoga Springs, New York is always at a premium, never more so than during the summer tourism season. This week, city Public Safety Commissioner Peter Martin announced some parking changes in the Spa City. Several long-term spaces are changing to short-term, and long-term spots are being reduced in a move designed to aid downtown businesses. Martin detailed the changes — and discussed the city’s search for a new police chief — in an interview with WAMC’s Ian Pickus.
