Innovative guitarist and co-founder of the seminal alternative rock band Sonic Youth Thurston Moore is launching a tour that will bring him from his London residence to the Northeast later this week.
Moore, who is touring with a band that also includes Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley, guitarist James Sedwards, and bass player Debbie Googe of My Bloody Valentine, is performing a project that pays tribute to three female artists.
Moore’s group will perform in Kingston on November 2nd, New Haven on November 3rd, and Greenfield, Massachusetts November 4th.
