Vassar's Justin Patch On Aretha's Life, Legacy
The music world is mourning the death this week of the Queen of Soul. Aretha Franklin died Thursday at 76 from pancreatic cancer. She is being remembered as a gospel and pop giant and a civil rights beacon. Joining us now is Justin Patch, a post-doctoral fellow in music at Vassar College.
