Republican Charlie Baker has won the gubernatorial election in Massachusetts. Democratic Attorney General Martha Coakley conceded early today. Berkshire GOP Chair Jim Bronson was watching returns at Pittsfield headquarters Tuesday night.
"...winning by one vote is just as good as winning by a million, the point is Massachusetts has decided to move in a different direction and elect Charlie Baker, and that’s just tremendous," said Jim Bronson.
Baker is the state’s first Republican Governor after Mitt Romney did not seek a second term in 2006.
