Northampton, MA – Two peace activists from Western Massachusetts are part of an international team of roughly two dozen people camped out at the Egypt-Gaza border. Paki Wieland of Northampton and Ellen Graves of West Springfield have spent the last two weeks in Egypt. They've protested in Cairo, visited the US embassy and are currently staying in a tent at Rafah. The activists want Egypt to open its border crossing into Gaza.
