Vermont Legislature Overrides Budget Veto During Special Session

Montpelier, VT – Vermont Legislators have been meeting in special session this week to deal with the state budget. Monday afternoon, the day before the session started, Governor Jim Douglas issued the first-ever veto of a state budget and on Tuesday the Legislature overrode his veto. WAMC North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
