Boston, MA – Massachusetts has a new Commissioner of the Department of Agricultural Resources. Effective today Scott Soares of Dartmouth succeeds Douglas Peterson, who stepped down after less than 18 months in the post. Soares had been assistant commissioner.. WAMC's Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill spoke with Soares who said he joined the department in 1996 as Aquaculture Coordinator.....
