Police To Collect Race Data to Help Assess Racial Bias

Burlington, VT – Four law enforcement departments in Vermont's most populous county will begin a program this summer to record the race of individuals at traffic stops and other detentions. It's part of a community program to promote police transparency and accountability. WAMC's North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
