Tony nominee Cristin Milioti from "Once"

This week, Cristin Milioti was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Leading Roll in a Musical for her work in Once. Once is based on the 2006 movie of the same name and features a book by award-winning Irish playwright and screenwriter, Enda Walsh, the Academy Award-winning music and lyrics of Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová, and is directed by acclaimed Scottish director, John Tiffany.

Here, we speak with Cristin Milioti about her memorable guest appearance on NBC's 30 Rock, her work in the upcoming movie, Sleewalk with Me, and, of course, playing The Girl in Once.

Sarah has worked in radio since she graduated from college in 2006. In her work with WAMC, she often interviews regional and global artists in all fields including music, theatre, film, television, and visual arts. During the main thrust of the Covid-19 pandemic shut-down, Sarah hosted a live Instagram interview program "A Face for Radio Video Series." On it, Sarah spoke with artists about the creative activities they were accomplishing and/or missing. She is on the board of WAM Theatre and lives in Albany, New York with her husband, Paul, and their dog, Doritos.
