Police in Vermont have arrested a second suspect in an alleged home invasion in Swanton.
U.S. Border Patrol agents captured a 15-year-old shortly after the alleged home invasion early Monday morning.
Mychamplainvalley.com reports that a 16-year-old male was taken into custody Monday afternoon. He and the 15-year-old boy are accused of breaking into a home and attacking a sleeping boy and then the boy’s grandmother after she tried to intervene.
The two suspects then ransacked the apartment.
Police say they believe the victims were specifically targeted so there is no threat to the public.
