The Vermont Attorney General’s office has found no evidence to support an allegation of misconduct against a Bellows Falls police detective.
The Vermont Attorney General’s office said Monday that it had completed a review of a complaint alleging that Bellows Falls Police Detective Mario Checchi had improperly notified a target of a search warrant before it was executed.

T.J. Donovan’s office says a review of the investigation conducted by Vermont State Police concluded there is no credible evidence to support the allegation of misconduct.

The Attorney General’s office said it has ended its review and will take no further action.
