Thousands of electric utility customers across the WAMC listening area are without power on this Christmas morning after high winds and rain overnight. Central Hudson says nearly 36,000 Hudson Valley customers are affected at this hour, with thousands of others without power in Eversource’s Western Massachusetts service areas. National Grid is reporting scattered outages in the greater Capital Region.
