An emergency response transport drill Tuesday and Wednesday involves hospitals in Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
On Tuesday, a patient-actor will arrive at the Central Vermont Medical Center’s Emergency Department in Barre. The resulting drill is based on a diagnosis of Ebola or High Consequence Infectious Disease.

The patient-actor will be transferred to the UVM Medical Center for assessment.

On Wednesday the exercise will continue as transport is made to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

The drill is intended to test the transport, communication and evaluation systems of the hospitals.
