A long-running labor dispute at Vermont’s largest hospital has ended.
Unionized nurses at University of Vermont Medical Center announced Friday they have ratified a new three-year contract.

The Vermont Federation of Nurses and Health Professionals members agreed to the tentative deal September 19th following a two-day strike and nearly a year of negotiations.

The contract includes a 16 percent average pay raise over the next three years.
