The public library in Burlington, Vermont will open for limited hours on Thanksgiving.
The Fletcher Free Library in downtown Burlington has been piloting holiday openings this year to provide a meeting place for people and provide a cooling or warming center depending on the season.
The library will be open on Thanksgiving from noon until 4 p.m. with hot beverages available.
About 60 people took advantage of the library as a cooling center during the 4th of July holiday and officials also plan to open the building for limited hours on Christmas Day.
