Vermont’s largest hospital is reminding people that even though the state has eliminated all pandemic restrictions, masks must be worn at its health centers.

The University of Vermont Health Network is updating its visitor policies following the expiration of Vermont’s State of Emergency and the end of COVID-19 restrictions.

But hospital officials say in they will remain in compliance with CDC guidance, meaning masks must be worn at all of the network’s Vermont hospitals. All visitors will also continue to be screened for COVID-19 symptoms when entering a facility.

The network is comprised of eight hospitals or health facilities. Five are in Vermont and three are in New York.
