Election day promises to be an interesting one across the nation. Here to talk about the big races, both in the region and across the country, are David Lombardo of WCNY's Capitol Pressroom and WAMC news director Ian Pickus. Call in and join the discussion. 800-348-2551. You may also email the show. VoxPop@WAMC.org. Ray Graf hosts.

David Lombardo is the host of Capitol Pressroom. He previously served as Capitol reporter for the Albany Times Union. Lombardo was named to "Albany 40 Under 40 Rising Stars" by City & State New York. Lombardo also notes that he is a "much better" softball player than Ian Pickus.

Ian Pickus has been in the WAMC newsroom since 2008 and became news director in 2013. He began working on Morning Edition and has produced The Capitol Connection and the Congressional Corner, among other programs. Ian can also be heard as the host of the WAMC News Podcast. He strongly disputes Mr. Lombardo's opinion about who is better at softball.

In broadcasting since 1987, Ray Graf has "done just about everything in radio," and is the first to let you know it. He is extremely old and has not played softball in "at least 30 years." Nevertheless, the ancient host asserts that he "had way more power and a far better arm than these two young punks put together."
